AI governance & system inventory

The problem Organizations are accountable for every AI system they run, yet rarely have one honest, current picture of what those systems are or whether they meet their controls.

How GovernAI (AINIST) solves it GovernAI keeps a living inventory of every AI system and scores each against the NIST AI Risk Management Framework with an evidence-backed audit trail โ€” so responsible-AI posture is demonstrable, not guessed.

Status: Live and publicly reachable

About GovernAI (AINIST)

GovernAI is an AI governance workbench that maintains a living inventory of every AI system in an organization and tracks each one against its controls and audit history. It surfaces how many systems are catalogued versus actually implemented, ties each system to its safeguards, and keeps an audit trail so teams can demonstrate responsible-AI posture against frameworks such as the NIST AI Risk Management Framework. It is the public face of the internal AINIST project.

What you can do

  • Maintain a living inventory of every AI system โ€” owner, risk tier, status and a live compliance score for each one.
  • Assess each system control-by-control against the NIST AI Risk Management Framework (Govern, Map, Measure, Manage).
  • See organization-wide posture at a glance: systems catalogued, controls implemented vs. in progress vs. not started, and progress per function.
  • Attach evidence and an accountable owner to every control, with notes and the date it was last assessed.
  • Keep an immutable audit trail of every change, ready to demonstrate responsible-AI governance to auditors and leadership.
  • Publish a read-only compliance wiki so staff can reference policies and control guidance without signing in.
