Independent · Self-hosted · Privacy-first
Software that answers to you, not to a cloud.
Securitas Machina is an independent software studio. Everything in the portfolio is built on one conviction: the most private place for your data is infrastructure you control.
What we believe
Most modern software quietly makes you the product: your documents, messages, photos, and habits are shipped to someone else’s servers, mined, and monetized. We build the alternative — production software that runs on hardware its owner controls, where sensitive data never has to leave the network to be useful.
That conviction shows up in the same ways across every product we ship:
- Self-hosted by design. Our systems run on owned infrastructure — yours or ours — not on rented clouds holding your originals.
- Local intelligence. Where products use AI, inference runs on local hardware, so the questions you ask and the documents you analyze stay home.
- Honest claims. A privacy promise a product cannot keep is worse than no promise. Each application’s privacy page says exactly what it does — and what it deliberately does not do.
- Accessible to everyone. The site and our products aim for WCAG 2.2 Level AA; the details live on our accessibility statement.
What we build
The portfolio spans security and privacy tools, AI governance, document automation, and market intelligence — from private document search appliances for professional firms to phone-hardening tools and self-hosted communications. Every live product is listed on the solutions page, each with its own detail page.
Who is behind it
Securitas Machina is operated by a practicing software engineering team with decades of experience building and running production systems — and running every one of these products on our own infrastructure first. We are our own first customer: the backups, monitoring, and privacy protections we sell are the ones we rely on ourselves.
